Card Patterns Challenge #40

Here is my entry for Card Patterns #40 contest. This was a very old Christmas stamp, that I ran accross the other day and had not used in a while so decided to give it a try. Some KI Memories paper, Offray ribbon, Northwoods Rubber Stamps, Flowersoft (polar white), Martha Stewart glitter and fabric paint, Thanks for taking a look.

Favorite Things Challenge at Flourishes

I entered the contest over at Flourishes, called "My Favorite Things". You have to pick a lyric, from that song, from The Sound Of Music and create a card to go with it. I decided on the lyric, "snowflakes that stay on my nose and eyelashes." I do not have any Flourishes stamps that were appropiate for this lyric. Instead I used some K&CO. papers and diecuts, flowersoft (polar white), string, cuttlebug embossing folder, Martha Stewart glitter and Heidi Grace star. Hope it is OK!! WOW!! last week on Card Patterns, I was in the top 5, very exciting for me. That was the first time I ever entered a card contest. So this week I thought "why not give it another shot!!" They have a fabulous design team, lots of very talented gals, love to view their work. It is quite inspirational and uplifting!! First Card Patterns Entry

This is my very first time doing a card pattern. It is card pattern #38, it was a great card sketch and I am excited to try this. Altered Expression

Hi all, today I have decided to try out for the design team over at Altered Expression. I don't have a lot of experience with digi stamps or collage images, but I really love what they have to offer on this site. My paper passion has always been card making. Recently, I have discovered the victorian and vintage styles. Love it all!! I think I could adapt my cardmaking skills into any style and come up with something quite suitable.
